ABOUT 

A. Michele Taylor is a contemporary artist that works in both fine art and craft.  She enjoys the mental and physical process of putting parts together to create a whole. Like putting together a puzzle, she makes a shape through connecting a line, forms a leaf through applying shades of color and designs a quilt through piecing together a multitude of squares. Michele creates to explore, develop and communicate her ideas to the viewer. Currently, she experiments with a variety of themes and techniques using acrylic paints.  

She graduated with a BFA from VCU and has taught art both privately and in Richmond Public Schools.  Her work is exhibited locally and she enjoys working on commission projects.  A native to Virginia, Michele lives in Henrico with her family and works out of her home studio.
